When this template fits
Who it is for
For insurers and managing agents receiving claims by phone, form and broker. As soon as more than one person records them, the details drift apart and later settlement has gaps.
Where it typically stalls
At completeness of the notification. If one detail is missing, the file enters a query loop costing several days. The template checks mandatory fields before the cover check, not after.

Upstream is the policy, which defines the scope of cover. Downstream is claims settlement with assessment and payment.
